Hey Lady💋™ Recap-"La Dolce Vita" 2024
Dearest gentle reader,
Every summer I set out to one-up the previous one! My annual months long stay in Italy is always jam-packed!
Hey Lady💋™ “La Dolce Vita” 2024 did NOT disappoint!
I started off in Rome as usual. I rented the same Airbnb in Pigneto that I have for the past five years.
Of course I had to go shopping on Via Condotti, Via Corso, and Via Tritone! The Zara in Rome is bananas🍌🫣
I mean who doesn’t like getting the Value Added Tax (12-15%) back on all goods over $80! This is one of the reasons why you wait to purchase your designer goods in Italy!
I went to Florence for two days and stayed at Hotel degli Orafi along the Arno river! I visited the Uffizi Gallery, woke up early one morning to walk along Ponte Vecchio (my favorite bridge) without any tourists!
I took in the sunset on the stairs overlooking Florence at Piazzale Michaelangelo, and shopped for leather goods👜 👜👜👜in the leather market and at my favorite store Choice Leather.
Headed down to the Amalfi Coast🍋 for a few days and stayed at Hotel Margherita in Praiano. I decided to stay in Praiano because it is less crowded than the overrun Positano.
I enjoyed a sunset dinner at Il Pirata, partied during the day at the exclusive One Fire🍉 Beach Club, went yachting🛥️ around Capri and swam (sorta😜) in the water. Then I had an amazing dinner in Positano at Piazza Murat!
Topped my stay off in Amalfi🍋 with a photoshoot📸 at Villa Rufolo in Ravello. Cause if you don’t take a picture, did it really happen⁉️
Headed back to Rome for a few days as I needed to get my💅🏽 nails, toes, and lashes done at Koko Salon and Beauty Factory in Pigneto. A girl has to maintain her beauty regime even in Italia!
Here’s where it got fun!
I rented a car 🚗and spent eight days in Sicily.
Now, if you’ve never been to Sicily YOU NEED TO PUT IT ON YOUR LIST‼️
I won’t type everything that I did because 🗣️🎙️I DID THE MOST!
However, I will say that I will definitely be purchasing a home there! The food was incredible, the people were warm and friendly, the views were out-of-this-world, and the real estate is inexpensive!
The highlight for me was visiting the Temple of Concordia in Argrigento which dates back to 430 BC‼️🤯
Oh and driving 🚗💨in Sicily is not for the faint of heart😤
Suffice it to say, I more than ONE-upped last year’s trip!
Looking forward to “La Dolce Vita” 2025 and bringing some friends and followers along for the ride!
